Andrea Prince

Helps teams raise their game, by building the leadership and the conditions people actually perform from. Two decades inside high-growth tech and finance, now as a coach.

Andrea Prince spent two decades leading HR inside high-growth companies across Australia, Asia, and Africa, building teams from the ground up and scaling them through hyper-growth. She now coaches the leaders who carry that weight.

She is the founder of Clarity Coaching Lab and a qualified executive coach with postgraduate qualifications in psychology and in business. As Regional HR Lead for The Trade Desk, the largest independent demand-side platform in ad tech, she helped scale the APAC business from 200 to more than 500 people across ten countries, building and leading the HR team through that growth. Before that she led APAC HR for Bloomberg across sixteen countries, ran the people side of Commonwealth Bank’s divestments in Asia, and, as Chief HR Officer of the fintech TymeBank in South Africa, built a banking HR function from nothing and scaled the workforce from 80 to 260.

She is Myers-Briggs certified and draws on psychology, neuroscience, and design thinking, but the through-line is simpler: she believes business can be more human, and that the quality of leadership is the biggest lever a team has. Her own brand draws on Ubuntu, “I am because we are”, a reminder that how we perform is bound up in how we work together.

What Andrea helps with

Andrea works with senior leaders, their teams, and the HR functions that support them. Her executive coaching helps a leader turn self-awareness into how they lead, so performance holds without burning people out. Her leadership development and team work build the conditions a team performs from, from culture and change to the everyday experience of working there. And her years inside high-growth tech and finance mean she meets a commercial leader on their own terms, then leaves them with something they can act on.
