About the Author

Professor Susan Goldsworthy OLY is an award-winning author, Olympic finalist, and Professor of Leadership, Communications and Change at IMD Business School in Lausanne.

After competing for Great Britain in swimming at the 1984 Los Angeles Games, she built an international business career with firms such as Reuters and Syngenta before pivoting to executive development.

Susan co-authored the books Care to Dare, Paradox and Choosing Change, exploring how secure-base leadership, paradox thinking and neurobiology unlock sustainable performance. Fluent in five languages and holding an MBA and MA in HR, she coaches teams worldwide on leading transformation with courage, clarity and connection.
